JAMES DAVIS DOOLITTLE

JAMES DAVIS DOOLITTLE, son of Lewis L Doolittle, born 27 July 1891 on Erie Co., PA USA. Married 1 April 1921 at Redfield South Dakota to Minnie Boesel. Minnie was born 26 December 1899 in Nebraska, USA. James Davis died 23 June 1970 as a resident of Wolsey, South Dakota, USA. He told of riding his motorcycle from PA to the Dakotas as a teenager. He became a "cowman" in North Dakota. Later he moved to South Dakota and bought a farm and ranch where he raised his 4 children and guided his 10 grandchildren.
